Creamy Chicken with Pasta

So the blog has been quiet for a while, we had an awesome vacation with my husband's family, and it was nice to unplug and just enjoy spending time together.
I haven't done a recipe post in a while, so when I came up with this yummy-ness a couple of weeks ago I just had to share it with all of you!
The orginal recipe I found is just the chicken with the sauce, but I decided to change up how it's made and add the noodles.
I LOVE how this dish turned out.
It's so good :)
(I was talking to my mom the other day, and I realized this recipe can be Gluten-free!
Just make sure you use a package of Gluten-free noodles, and you're good to go) :)

Ingredients
(Makes 4 servings)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 Tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. heavy whipping cream
1/2 c. sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (I buy the packaged ones without the oil)
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. Penne noodles (Make sure to use Gluten-free noodles if you need to go that route)

Directions
1. In a large pot, bring water to boil and pour in noodles. Cook according to directions on the box.
2. While the noodles are cooking filet chicken breasts in half length-wise to make them thinner. Season chicken lightly with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic salt. Cook chicken in a skillet with a small amount of oil over medium heat until it's no longer pink. about 5-7 min on each side.
3. Take chicken out of the skillet and set aside. Add minced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and turn the heat up to medium-high. Bring chicken broth to a slight boil. Stir in cream and sun-dried tomatoes and boil for 1 minute.
4. Reduce heat and add Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes.
5. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces, then add chicken and cooked noodles to the sauce and stir to mix it all together.
6. Enjoy!!
