The Best Pancakes

Ok I'm not even joking when I say these pancakes are the best!
These pancakes are soft, fluffy, and delicious.
Try them and you'll see for yourself!
My boys request these pancakes on a regular basis, and since these are so quick and easy to make I don't mind it at all :)
I've added a few photos to give you a step-by-step guide.
First you'll add your dry ingredients and mix with a wire whisk.
The wet ingredients will be next.
Make sure you mix it well, you don't want any clumps of flour left behind.
You want the consistency of the batter to be slightly runny, with a little thickness to it if that makes sense...
Add your batter to a pan over medium-low heat and flip once the edges start to bubble.
Most of the time we add chocolate chips to our pancakes. You can add them when mixing the batter, or you can actually add them here at this point of cooking, right after you add the batter to the pan, just throw some chocolate chips on top.
We have to do it that way when my boys want different kinds of chocolate chips. Sometimes one will want milk chocolate chips and the other will want white chocolate chips, and then on top of that my husband doesn't want any chocolate chips, so this is m way of saving myself from making 3 different batches :)
 The perfect color!
And it looks so fluffy!
 Mmmm...

Ingredients
(This will make about 8 good sized pancakes)

1 c. all purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. milk
Chocolate chips (optional)

Directions
Add dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and combine with a wire whisk.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Scoop batter into a heated frying pan.
When the edges of the pancake start to bubble, flip the pancake and let it finish cooking.
