Ingredients
1/2 c. unsalted butter (1 stick)
1 11 oz. bag caramels, unwrapped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 11 oz. bag mini marshmallows
8 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 tsp. heavy cream
Directions
Grease a 9x13 cake pan with butter and set aside.
In a pan over medium heat add the butter and melt completely.
Pour in sweetened condensed milk and stir until combined.
Add about 20 unwrapped caramels and cook until melted, stirring frequently.
Add marshmallows and cook until melted, stirring frequently. Add salt and vanilla and mix in.
In a large bowl add the Rice Krispies, then pour caramel mixture over the cereal. Combine the caramel mixture and caramel completely.
Pour into the 9x13 cake pan and spread around until flattened.
Let cool and harden.
When ready, cut and remove the Rice Krispie treats. Place about 6 caramels and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for about 30 seconds until the caramels are completely melted.
Use the melted caramel mixture to drizzle over the Rice Krispie treats and let cool for a few minutes.
Enjoy when ready!
