Tested: How to clean a shirt collar

There are so many cleaning tips on Pinterest.
It can get a little overwhelming.
I had some shirts I needed to clean and my regular bottle of Shout just wasn't doing the trick, so I thought I would try out some different techniques and see what worked.

How to fix footie jammies

During the winter months my older son lives in his footie jammies.
I'm not even kidding.

Roasted Tomato Soup

It's been chilly here for the last couple of weeks and as I was scrolling through pictures I stumbled across these.
The moment I saw these pictures I was reminded of how amazingly delicious and creamy this soup was!
I haven't made this soup in a couple of months because I usually like to use this recipe as a good way to use up tomatoes from the garden...after reminiscing here for a minute though I may need to add it to this weeks menu...
Mmmmm.
Look at those colors...

Fabric Flower Tutorial

My first post of the new year is a tutorial.
If you were here a few weeks ago you might remember the post I wrote for my new Christmas stocking I made. (If you didn't get a chance to see the super awesome tutorial, you can find it here DIY Burlap Stocking) I had added this beautiful flower to my stocking as a finishing touch.
I am back now with a step-by-step tutorial to show you how it all came together.
I had some brown scrap fabric in my stash so I just cut off a corner.
